Travel like the wind : Suchart Choolee
The dawn at Ban Hai Tak arrives with gentle sunlight and the fragrant aroma of Arabica coffee. A pristine white veil of mist slowly unfurls, flowing through the mountain valleys. I sip my warm coffee, gazing out at the mountain range before me, standing tall like a natural fortress guarding the border. Its taste is more than just a beverage; it is a nexus that connects people, weaving stories through warm conversations between guests and their gracious hosts.
Before me lies a sea of mist, sprawling as far as the eye can see. The once-majestic peaks are now but small islands, emerging from a fluffy white ocean that stretches to the neighboring land. As the first light of day touches the surface of the mist, it ignites into a dazzling golden shimmer.
Everything falls silent, as if under a spell. There is only the wind, carrying the clouds to drift across the sky. It is a moment where the world seems to stand still, allowing one to fully immerse in the wonder before them with all their heart.
Yet, the charm of Ban Hai Tak runs deeper than the sea of mist and the taste of its coffee. It is the unhurried pace of life, the simplicity, the warm smiles of the villagers, and a way of life in harmony with nature. All of this is its true enchantment. This becomes especially clear when one pauses to reflect, feeling like a tiny part of this vast world. The burdens and confusion of city life are suddenly lifted, leaving behind only a serene peace within the soul, and the memory of a magnificent dawn, destined to be cherished forever.
